Dexter Township does not have the capacity to recycle Styrofoam in the Township parking lot. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation. The Film Plastic is a successful program and we now have 3 volunteers picking up the film plastic from the orange bin and delivering it to Chelsea High School on their designated day. We want to thank them for volunteering. We are looking for 1 more volunteer if you have any interest.
Styrofoam can be recycled at the Ann Arbor Drop-Off Station at 2950 E. Ellsworth, An Arbor MI 48108 734-971-7400
Their hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday 9am to 6:30pm
There is a charge of $3.00 for a day pass but they have other options on payment. Credit Cards only, no checks or cash.
